Shungai is one of the Three pillared gods, who are said to be Kyosho's strongest, unrivaled by any other group.

Despite being a good fighter, Koukin is very shy and prefers to stay out of fights. Although he is a C-rank, only his lack of confidence and his short resume of victories (or battles for that matter) keep him from becoming A-rank, despite already having the power of one.

A second season, called Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny (一騎当千 Dragon Destiny, Ikkitōsen Doragon Desutinī), aired 12 episodes on AT-X between February 26, 2007 and May 14, 2007, with subsequent broadcasts on Chiba TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Kanagawa, Tokyo MX, Sun Television, TV Aichi, and TV Saitama.

As a manga, "Shin Ikki Tousen" debuted in a November 2015 issue of the Shonengahosha's Young King magazine. It's a sequel to the classic Ikki Tousen series, which takes place in Japan, where seven high schools have established their turfs.Jan 24, 2022

  • Ikki Tousen is an anime TV series based on the manga by Yuji Shiozaki, published by Wani Books and serialized in the seinen manga magazine Comic GUM.

No-Sell: After Bachou invades the school and effortlessly beats up everyone in her path in her attempt to get to Sousou, she's finally the one to completely block all of her attacks, and even saves her from falling off the roof.

  • In Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny, she is ordered by Shibai to keep an eye on Sousou if he becomes too powerful. Chuukou is one of the participants of the Battle of Red Cliffs. After that battle, she returns to playing for her volleyball team. In Ikki Tousen: Xtreme Xecutor, Chuukou fights Bachou Mouki during her attempt to confront Sousou.

  • A 13-episode anime adaptation of Ikki Tousen produced by J.C. Staff and directed by Takashi Watanabe aired on AT-X from July 30, 2003 and October 22, 2003, with subsequent runs on TV Kanagawa, Mie TV, Chiba TV, TV Saitama, and Sun Television. Seven DVD volumes were released by Media Factory between November 22, 2003 and May 25, 2004.

It is already confirmed that the broadcast will take place in the course of 2022 on the Japanese pay-TV channel AT-X. You can see a teaser image for the announcement below. Like the previous “Ikki Tousen” manga, “Shin Ikki Tousen” was penned by Yuji Shiozaki.
