  • Yes, it gets better. The Dark Tournament and Chapter Black Sagas are both good. The final arc is good, though rushed. Dark Tournament arc is one of the best fucking arcs in anime history. That shit is legendary. Yu Yu Hakusho is prob my #1 fav anime of all time. I love everything about. The Bromance is so damn funny.

The manga consists of 175 chapters spanning 19 tankōbon with the first one being released on April 10, 1991, and the last one released on December 12, 1994.

It Has a Great Hook

Yu Yu Hakusho's got one of the most compelling hooks in all of action anime. Starting off by killing its main character Yusuke when he saves a child from an accident, the first few episodes of the series don't feel like a traditional "action" anime.
